I just finished it.
Fantastic to read it again after so long.
Actually I audio “read” it.
I drive a truck at night and it’s the perfect time to listen to recorded books.

As many know this classic is about censorship; in a world where firemen don’t put out fires - they burn books.
Houses are now inflammable and TVs are walls.
One thing that will stay with me; the guy says how his father hated a Roman called Status Quo.
I can’t stand when people call my band this (and leave off the “No Show”) – they’re missing the point.
The messages of the book are pro-freedom and anti-war.
It gives me pause to think about passivity.
Maybe I’m too nationalistic.

It’s always amazed me how people who supposedly are for freedom seek to limit the speech and expression of others.
These bastards are so locked in their self righteousness that anyone who has a contrasting view is so wrong that they must be silenced.
Perhaps it’s time they read Fahrenheit 451.
